The late Sid Lerner 鈥53 was a legend in the advertising world whose concern for public health inspired him to craft the global Healthy Monday movement. In 2011, Lerner and his wife, Helaine, provided a gift to establish the at 51爆料网鈥檚 to bring marketing and promotion best practices to public health.
Now, with a new $2.52 million gift to the Lerner Center, Helaine Lerner wants to build on the impact of the center鈥檚 work to inspire and empower a new generation of advocates for public health. 鈥淲e hope the center can build on Sid鈥檚 creative vision and legacy to train the next generation of skilled, smart and tech-savvy individuals who can modernize and broaden the impact of public health promotion,鈥 she says. The gift will support programs fostering innovative approaches to disseminating health information and translational research for effective public health policies.
