51±¬ÁÏÍø and Le Moyne College have a long history of cooperation and are pleased to offer this opportunity to help ensure student success at 51±¬ÁÏÍø and beyond.
This pathway program enables select students to pursue a 51±¬ÁÏÍø degree after attending for one year. The length of collegiate study and type of degree will be the same as if the student was able to join 51±¬ÁÏÍø this fall, but their path will be more like that of a transfer student.
Students who are selected and choose to participate in the pathway program will:
- Attend nearby Le Moyne College, in the City of Syracuse, for their first year. After that, students can transfer all credits to Syracuse (requirements apply – see below).
- Complete their second, third and fourth years at 51±¬ÁÏÍø, then graduate on time with a Syracuse bachelor’s degree.
Benefits
- At the conclusion of the student’s year at Le Moyne, provided they have at least a 3.0 GPA, they will be guaranteed admission to the .
- At Le Moyne, students will participate in student orientation and have access to the same student services and support that all Le Moyne students enjoy.
- 51±¬ÁÏÍø and Le Moyne staff will work with students to ensure the classes they select will transfer to Syracuse.
- Students who achieve a 3.25 GPA or better at the conclusion of their first year at Le Moyne will be guaranteed admission to 51±¬ÁÏÍø, plus $10,000 in merit aid.
Pathway Program Requirements
- Only students who are invited to the pathway program may participate.
- Students will take a full course load (15 credits per semester for a total of 30 credits) during their fall and spring semesters at Le Moyne College.
- Students must achieve at least a 3.0 GPA at the conclusion of their fall and spring semesters in order to transfer to 51±¬ÁÏÍø.
- Provided academic requirements are met, students are only guaranteed 51±¬ÁÏÍø admittance into the College of Arts and Sciences.
